Retaining Rings

Retaining Rings act like a shoulder, which holds components and assemblies in place on a smooth shaft and can also be used in a housing or bore for one-time uses. Popular applications include retaining shafts.
They are installed into pre-manufactured grooves on axles and pins, creating a shoulder function and retaining the specified component or assembly. The ring design features a lip for easy assembly and dismantling.
This range also includes Fixing Rings, which can perform the same functions as a retaining ring, but can also be used as a space between components. They provide a firm assembly that can be adjusted and removed by hand.
