The hexagonal shape with its six flat sides provides an easy way to tighten and loosen this Nylon Hex Nut when using a standard wrench, as they are designed to either SAE imperial or metric sizes. Nylon Hex Nuts are non-conductive and offer corrosion resistance and a lasting hold.
