Quick panel mount strain relief gland kit acts as a cable gland for jacketed fibre, preventing the cable from being pulled out of the device. The plastic body mounts directly on the panel, and the jacketed cable is passed through the centre hole. On the inside of the panel, the cable’s Kevlar strands are clamped to the plastic body using one of two clamping sleeves (whichever is appropriate). It is secured in the panel with a mounting bolt. On the outside of the panel, a flexible boot is attached to the plastic body, providing control over the bend-radius of the cable exiting the strain-relief assembly
